after a bloody tiring 1 week....
i finally got to use my dear dear DEAR lappy le!!!
so gan dong!!
last week was so so SO tiring lo!!
i thot my leg and back will crack sia.... after that few days....
i was working at the border sale lo... at expo de...
let me tell your wad happen....
-day 1 -> thurs -> setting up day -
morning... reach... is all right... take attendance.... briefing... blar blar blar...
after tt... we was being dispersed into group... i was being dispersed in to grace [ old hag ] group.
we were in charge of the cooking section... so we start putting up the books...
but when we put until half way, she call us over to gather a again... she call all of us to open up the boxes... ok... is alright... we open... den we sort them out in the prices... den set up....
after... erm... i think 6 hours... we finish setting up the cook section... u noe y so long!! it is bcos... when we almost finishing... grace came over and say... " all the books which hab den 60 or more de... put back into the boxes!!" bloody!! they was freaking many book hab more den 60 lo!! efficient right!! other section still haben finish setting up leh.... den we thot we can slack a while lo... who noes.... she call us go help the fict lit de section... this is when hell started...
all the fict lit books are in a mess... a bloody bloody mess... we hab to sort out the book according to their title... it is really a killer lo!! this is still alright... we sort out... stack stack... den this grace... came over... and say.... "who ask your to stack so high!! nobody ask your to stack so high!! i don't want it so high!!" ya!! nobody call us to stack so high but nobody tell us we cannot stack so high ar!! and it was bcos the amt and the thickness of the book made us stack so hogh de lo.... u are the manager yet u dun noe wad book got more den 60!! and even if u dun noe.... u can tell us ealier wad... rite!!! kns!! so... after tt... we... the poor poor part timers.... hab to count all the books tt look like got 60 de... but luckily i hab to go at 5pm tt day day... cos i got lesson... the rest of them... or actually is e cashiers la [ dunno y is it the cashiers ] hab to stay until 8pm den can go off... at least tt was wad i heard...
ok... den now tok about my jap lesson... tt day... bcos i was so tired... i nearly fall aslp in the lesson... for the first... den beri lucky or unluckily... when i was going to... my teacher call mi... to ans a qns... den i realise... my habits is back... on my paper was alot of unknown words... and i was even at the wrong page... zzz... but i manage to ans e teacher qns la... not bad ba... and tt day lesson ended at 9+... cos the teacher was sick 2 weeks ago... so now they like return the time gib us lo...
after the lesson... mama came to fetch mi... she ask mi walk to the bus stop opp. of where she always drop mi... so i got the wrong idea... and when to the wrong place... and she couldnt find mi... hahaha!!! so we was 10 mins later den expected when we reach home...
first day.... ended.... tired... =.=
-day 2 -> fri -> first day of the sale -> ww 3-
morning... reach... got a bad news... although i applied for cashier, i oso hab to be packer, and do recovery... recovery.. ok... packer... not ok!!! wad i hate most is packing le!! still ask mi be packer!!! but... i hab no choice... haiis
when the shop open.... it was a disaster!!
total disaster...
we hab to type in the binc code, category, title and the price of the item...
alot rite!! it is bcos they dun hab a scanner!!! no scanner!!!
and this is hell man.. they customers hab to q beri long...
bcos it is the first day of sale.... so we are still not familar wib the codes... so we are quite slow la... so at the first hour... mayb 30mins ba... but after the first hour.... is when those ppl found alot books they wan... and the q gets longer and longer and longer... so the q-ing time also gets longer and longer and longer... so the waiting time - longer!
we nid to key in every single item de binc code... every single item de price.... of cos nid alot time la!! and there is this one uncle... he came to my counter when grace came to get the journal... grace wad telling him "thank you for your patience" u noe wad he say.. he say "of cos i got patience... after 2 hours of q-ing... where will hab no patience for tis few mins..." sarcastic rite... pls la uncle... u q so long oso not my fault... i already keying at my fastest speed ok!! u so li hai u come key yourself la... u q beri long... we oso stand beri long ok... u stand there chit chat...i here keying things until i dun even noe the time lo... onli see numbers, cards, cash, books, and reciepts!! pls think for us ok!! we cashiers and packers oso beri xin ku de leh!! u wan blame or complaint... pls complaint to borders... y they dun hab scanner la....
ok... after my lunch break... it was my time to be packer... i am damn lousy at packing la!! i take beri long time to finish packing the book la... if tt person buy alot book... so... haiis... dun wan say abt packing le... but anyway... i hurt my back at the first day during packing...
after dinner break... free time!! haha!! recover book!! is easy lo... jus take the book... den ask ard... see anybody saw tt book ma... den put back... so do tt until 10+ lo... haha relax har!! hahaha!!! ok la...
second day... ended.... back aching....
-third day -> sat -> 2nd day of sale -> national day -> ww 4-
today.... although familar wib the codes le...
but...
the crowd was so scary!!

anyway... made 2 mistake today...
1) forget to give the 10% discount.
consequence : retype the the whole transaction 3 times......
not alot la... 20+ binc code nia... =.=
2) count correct but tell the cashier wrong thing.
consequence: customer come back suan us like nobody business. [sorry samantha and sufian ><] -forth day -> sun -> last day of sale -> high school musical on ice day -> ww5-
today... is the worst day of the 3 day.... 15mins nia... customer start coming le... but the thing that gave the most prob is the machine...
the machine really kills sia... keep jamming and jamming and jamming....
once it jam den the whole machine will down lo...
but luckily in the end found out the way to solve tis prob lo...
but today the q was damn scary.... it was all the way to the back...
freaking far from the cash register lo..
den the shop close at 9... at least it was said close at 9 la...
but the cashier end at 11.30 sia... 11.30 leh....is 2 and 1/2 hour more from closing time leh!!
lucky i last shift is do recovery lo... so i can go off at 10... but i stay dao 11 find book... and also wait for mama to come fetch mi lo... not bad la... i found few books..
so last day of sale.... great news huh... for all the cashier... hurrary!!! no more binc codes!!!! wahahaha!!!

after discount... onli $2.70 lo... cheap ba!!

so in the end... i thot i wont buy anything... but i bought 6 books including yan de baking book... hahaha!!! got staff price nv buy any book really bu gan xin lo....
so got some book...so happy!!!
but today slack lo.... sit down on the floor...sort out the books....
see whether anymore bargines book in the penguine [ a brand of books ] side....
den pack into boxes... tape it.... den stack it up..... den flatten the empty carton boxes... put together.... den deng deng!! done!!!! wahahahaha!!!!
den mi, samantha, cody, cindy, lisa, 3 more guys i cant rmb the name... [ sorry!!! ] we when to tampines de kelly and gib them the time sheet lo!!! now onli wait for my pay le!!! wahahaha!!!
